Youngsters at Hatton Green’s Ferncumbe School near Warwick will be able to remember their primary school days with fondness for years to come – thanks to the gift of brightly coloured commemorative hoodies celebrating their time there.
All 24 year six leavers were presented with the hoodies at a party this month – each marked with the name of the school, the year of their ‘graduation’ and their own name (just in case they forget!)
The hoodies were partly funded by Leamington estate agency ehB Residential, whose sister company ehB Warwick sells a good many homes for families of children attending the village school, many of whom live in nearby Hatton Park.
The hoodie tradition has been popular for a number of years – with ehB Residential a regular benefactor as part of its community outreach policy.
ehB Residential MD Edward Bromwich went along to visit the children during their break time to find out how they’d enjoyed their time at the school.
“We’re very keen to help the community which has given us so much support over the years,” he explained. “The parents give a contribution towards the tops but we like to help reduce the amount they need to provide by offering a top up. Ferncumbe is a great school and very community minded and it’s fantastic that the children want to remember the happy times they had there.”

"Just a quick note to say a big thank you for all your hard work diligence & understanding to help the sale go through so quickly."
