ehB Residential has been named the best estate agency in Leamington for lettings under a national property awards scheme.
Judges from the British Property Awards looked at 25 customer service related criteria at a number of lettings companies across Leamington before reaching their conclusion.
Responsiveness and helpfulness were among the core traits against which the agencies were measured – with ehB coming up trumps in all areas.
Gold award winner ehB will now be entered into the organisation’s regional and national awards to be measured against agencies across the UK.
ehB’s lettings manager Gayl Tallis has been working at the company for the past 20 years – and her personal approach and that of her team are key to company’s success, believes MD Edward Bromwich.
“I’m so proud of our amazing team,” he said.
“One of the key reasons landlords and tenants like us is that we offer a really personal service, with everything run in-house – from our property management to our accounts. The team are brilliant and any queries can be addressed pretty much straight away as everyone is working together in the same office and knows all the properties inside out.
“In many agencies certain elements are outsourced, with the accounts and property management departments sometimes being many miles away. We’re delighted that the British Property Award judges recognised that our commitment to excellent customer service has made us the best lettings agency in town.”
Gayl Tallis added: “We’re really chuffed about the award. We know we’re good at what we do but it’s great to be recognised by an external orgasition. I’m really lucky to have such a great, friendly team working with me.
“It’s the relationships we have with customers and respect for tenants and which makes us stand out from other lettings companies.
“We have so many recommendations and repeat business. We treat tenants with respect and dignity and they sometimes come in to say it’s been a pleasure dealing with us. People are always welcome to drop in and, however busy we are, we will stop whatever we’re doing to talk to them. I think that’s what makes us stand out – our human touch.
“We always keep up to date with the latest legislation and Edward encourages us to go on courses and attend conferences and seminars so we can offer the best service on a professional as well as a personal level.”
Manager of the British Property Awards Will Price added: “We were simply shocked by the polarity of the service provided by different agents. Our mission is to provide a useful award for the consumer on a local level, highlighting excellence within their town, an award that can be trusted and used as part of their decision-making process.”

"Hi Juliana, I was driving past your offices today and realised that I never contacted you to say thank you for all your help in the purchase of Villiers Street. I am so very sorry that it took me so long, it’s been a crazy few weeks! From my first property viewings with Clive to collecting the keys from Chris on completion day and all the parts in-between with yourself, I thoroughly enjoyed working with ehB. I saw lots of properties with an array of local estate agents and ehB were the most professional, knowledgeable and personable out of all of them (by a country mile!). You were fantastic at keeping track of the process the whole way through and really made me feel like an important customer. After speaking with many friends and family, it seems this is a very unique experience of an estate agents (particularly as a buyer) and therefore I really want you to know how appreciative I am. The house is really starting to feel like home already and I’m so pleased with the purchase. I have already sung the praises of ehB to my friends, family and colleagues. Once again, thank you for all your help in the purchase. All the best, G Sharp "
